Video
Video must be filmed from the judge's position and centered on C. Video must contain audio and be one continuous filming; unedited from start to finish. Prior to entering the ring, your videographer must show a cell phone displaying the date and time. Instruction on how to record your video can be found below.

Readers are allowed and may stand at the letters "E" or "B".

Judge Biography
Cassidy Wozniak, USDF Bronze Medalist, will be our judge. Cassidy Wozniak is a USDF Bronze Medalist with over 20 years of experience in dressage and eventing. Cassidy has competed at local, regional, and national championships and trained with numerous Olympic and Pan-American medalists. She has experience with a wide variety of horses, including restarting OTTB’s and rehabbing horses with behavioral issues. Cassidy is looking forward to the opportunity to virtually judge in her jammies and getting the 2020 show season underway!

Scoring
The tests will be judged and scored on standard test sheets, with complete comments, just as if they were at a regular dressage show. If the judge determines that the horse appears lame, the judge has the right to excuse the ride and not continue scoring. The judge will make notes on the score sheet indicating their observations. We will make every effort to judge this class fairly with the knowledge that there are inherent challenges to judging online shows that make it different from the real-life experience.

Results & Awards
Results will be posted online on the WPDA website. Score sheets will be scanned and emailed to all participants. Your video WILL NOT be posted publicly nor will the comments on your test sheets. Please see below on how to record your video. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 6th in each class and an overall High Point. Ribbons can be mailed or picked up on arrangement.

Divisions: Junior/Adult Amateur/ Open/ Pony
NOTE: Riders are limited to three classes per same horse on the same day.

Violation of any of these rules may result in the refusal to accept the entry or non-refundable scratch.

HOW TO RECORD YOUR TEST(S)
You do not need a special camera to record videos. A cell phone video is sufficient. The videographer should try to hold the camera as steady as possible or secure it to maximize coverage, and not zoom in and out, etc. Steady coverage with the camera in landscape position works best. The entire arena and rider/horse and the dressage letters must be visible in order to judge accuracy, etc.

Step 1. Using a phone or video camera, have a helper video your ride from Letter C, ideally in an outdoor arena/field during the daytime. For best results, the camera should not be facing into the sun. An indoor or covered arena may be used if the lighting is good—the better the lighting conditions, the better you will look. Make sure the sound is turned ON.

Step 2. Prior to entering the ring, your videographer must show a cell phone displaying the date and time. Without stopping the video, speak into the camera stating your name and your horse’s name, the level and test you are riding, and then continue, without editing (no stop and starting) into the arena.

Step 3. As soon as the test is finished, the camera must circle the horse and rider showing the sides of the horse, spurs, and the bit.

Step 4. Upload your video to YouTube and include the link within your entry or email the YouTube link to our show secretary, Kaley Tomsic, after you have completed your online entry form. If you choose to submit your link through email, please be sure to include your first and last name and use the subject line "(First Name) (Last Name) - WPDA Virtual Dressage Show Video Submission.
