Have you ever wanted to understand the science of how your horse thinks and why he acts the way he does? Dr. Steve Peters brings an evidence-based approach to the answer.

Dr. Steve Peters is a horse brain researcher (Neuroscientist), who specializes in brain functioning. He has given Equine Brain Science seminars/presentations and performed Horse Brain dissections around the world for the horse owning public and trainers, as well as Veterinarians and Veterinary Surgeons.

Dr. Peters provides an EVIDENCE-based approach to horsemanship. Whether you're looking to improve your training, deepen your understanding of equine behavior, or simply connect more profoundly with your horse, Dr. Peters’ clinics offer an unparalleled opportunity to transform your approach to horsemanship.

This clinic will help you understand the science of how your horse thinks and why he acts the way he does. Dr. Peters shows you how to best communicate, understand, and connect with your horse(s), not based on someone's method, the internet, or traditional thought, but based on current, scientific knowledge of how their nervous system actually works.

Who should attend? Everyone who owns, works with or has interaction with a horse should attend this clinic!

What will you "get" from this clinic?

* Gain insights into the equine brain that explains behavior, learning, and emotional responses.

* Learn the "why" behind a horse's actions, thus creating a more meaningful and effective interaction with the horse.

* How to develop training methods that align with how their brains work.

* How to reduce fear and anxiety in your horse and reinforce positive behaviors through evidence-based methods.

* How to optimize your communication and to be clear in what you ask of horses based on their brain function.

* How to deepen your relationship by creating an environment built on trust and feeling safe.

* How to help them reset their nervous system and self-regulate their own behavior.

* How to tap into your horse's curiosity and exploration, creating brain growth within your partner.

* Get a rare opportunity to explore the inner workings of a horse's brain through "hands-on" dissection of a horse's brain.

NOTE: This is a lecture-based clinic. There will be horses already available for demonstration purposes.
