Spooktacular Sherwood Show Jumping at Wellington Farm presented by the Sherwood Show Series invites
equestrians to a thrilling Halloween jumper show offering classes from Cross Rails (18”) to 1.30m (4’ 3”).
This show offers two special costume classes for horse & rider and dog & handler both judged at the walk.

READ BEFORE ENTERING:
• All riders must register through Strider. For detailed instructions, please see "To Submit a Complete Entry" notes below.
• All horses must upload a negative Coggins to Strider by the entry close date.
• The show will begin promptly at 9:00am.
• Trailers may arrive at 7:00am, jump arena is open for flatting 7:30am to 8:30am, other arenas will remain open.
• Spectators are permitted to set up seating in lawn between arena and stable but must stay behind the safety line.
• Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
• Well-behaved dogs on leashes no longer than 6’ are welcome.
Note: Dogs who are disruptive or cause a potential safety issue for horses and riders will be asked to leave.
• Seven paddocks with water are available to rent for $30/day. No shade provided, 40’ x 60’. First come, first served.
**To Submit a Complete Entry**
1. Complete our digital waiver FIRST. It may be found here:
2. Upon completion of the digital waiver, you will be emailed a .pdf copy of your e-signed waiver.
3. Attached the .pdf copy of your signed waiver and your horse's Coggins to your Strider entry.
4. Select the classes you would like to enter and submit payment through Strider. If you experience any difficulties paying with a credit card, please contact support@striderpro.com.
NOTE: All attached files and payments submitted on Strider appear in our Organizer dashboard with your entry.
GENERAL RULES:
• ASTM/SEI approved helmets must be worn at all times when mounted.
• USEF-appropriate attire is required.
• Ribbons shall be awarded in each class for first through sixth place unless otherwise specified.
• Each entry must be accompanied by a $10 office fee.
• Jumper classes are $45 per class prior to entry close, $55 per class day-of-show.
• Leadline class is FREE.
• Costume classes discounted to $10.
CLASS FORMATS:
Horse and rider compete to clear a jumping course with the lowest number of faults and the fastest time. If two
riders are tied with no faults, then the amount of time it took to complete the course will be the determining factor
of who wins.
TABLE II.2 - SPEED:
• At the first buzzer riders have 45 seconds to cross the start line, initiating the course timer which begins the round.

• At the first buzzer riders have 45 seconds to cross the start line, initiating the course timer which begins the round.
• Once all competitors have completed a round the top three will be called back for the Jump Off.
TABLE II.2a - SPEED & IMMEDIATE JUMP OFF:
• At the first buzzer riders have 45 seconds to cross the start line, initiating the course timer which begins the round.
• Upon completion of the round with no time faults or jumping faults (a clear round) riders must stay in the arena.
• At the second buzzer riders have 45 seconds to cross the start line, initiating the course timer which begins the
abbreviated Jump Off round.
DIVISIONS:
• Riders who complete both “a” and “b” designations of a class (ex. 2a and 2b) are eligible for the division award.
• If a rider scratches either the “A” or “B” designations of a class are ineligible for that division’s award.
• Division prizes will be awarded at each fence height in classes 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, and 11.
• Prizes will be awarded for standalone classes 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, and 13.
CHANGE & REFUND POLICY:
• Changes may be accommodated day-of-show prior to the start of the first class.
• Scratches are accommodated up until the start of the class prior.
Ex. If you are scratching Class 10, you must scratch prior to the start of Class 9.
• Refunds are granted up to one day prior to the show, less a $20 administrative fee.
CONCESSIONS:
• The Silver Fox Food Truck will be on-site providing breakfast, and lunch.
• Coffee will be available at the Show Office courtesy of Sherwood Stable, LLC.

• Official show communications related to rescheduling or canceling due to weather will be done via email to the email address on your Strider entry. Please ensure secretary@sherwoodshowseries.com is added to your "Safe" list so emails from the show are not directed to your Junk folder.

- Trailer Direction: PARKING:
● Please follow on-site signage, all vehicles will turn left from the driveway into the parking field.
● Cars will park in the second field to the left, a footbridge is available for crossing the ditch.
● Trailers will park in the first field to the left, parallel at an angle facing south west towards the driveway.
● Please leave room on either side for horses to be tied. - Change Policy: Changes are permitted before registration closes.
