Stephen will walk you through the essentials of pacing, rider position, and other key elements of cross-country riding, with a friendly demo rider showcasing the techniques in action for you to see.

This format, with a demo rider that you can observe, will make it easy to understand and visualize each important step. Whether you're new to cross-country or just looking to brush up on the basics, this clinic is a fantastic opportunity to get started. Get your questions answered in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere—all levels welcome!
📍 Location: The clinic will be held in both the indoor arena and the cross-country schooling field, offering a great mix of controlled practice and real-world application.
Please meet inside the indoor arena, across the road from the event side.

Trailer Direction: From Washington D.C.--Approximate distance: 40 milesFrom Route 495, take Route 270 North, towards Frederick.
Continue on Rt. 270 N, approximately 26 miles, to Exit 26 for Route 80 West, Buckeystown/Urbana.
Turn right off the exit ramp, circling under Rt. 270 and continue on Rt. 80 W, approximately 1.5 miles to Park Mills Road on the left.
Turn left onto Park Mills Rd. and continue straight for approximately 5.8 miles to the entrance on the right.
