This clinic is organized and offered by Northern Virginia Working Equitation (NOVAWE), an Affiliate Organization of USA Working Equitation (USAWE) and focuses on Working Equitation (WE) obstacles as well as flat work exercises to improve execution. Please note that the clinic fee below does not include the office fee of $20. Please be sure to check that box as well when you fill out the entry.
Clinician:
Kimberley Hillyer has been teaching for over 30 years with experience with Dressage, Western Dressage, Working Equitation and other disciplines. She has won multiple Regional Championships since she discovered WE in 2018. Join us for a very educational, fun filled weekend of Working Equitation!
On Day 1, riders will participate in small group obstacle work, followed by a group course walk with discussion of strategy and lines for the EOH Fix-A-Test on Sunday. The day begins at 8 am and ends after pizza (NOVAWE provides) at 7 pm.
On Day 2, riders will have a private 30" EOH Fix-A-Test session. Riders will ride the course then receive instruction and practice to improve that ride.
Clinic cost for two days includes:
-Group obstacle session, 1.5 hour sessions, no more than 3 riders/group
-Course Walk with clinician
-Private EOH Fix-A-Test with clinician
-2 lunches
*All Clinic participants must sign and send in (or attach) the FPFP Liability release.
*Non-members of NOVAWE will also need to sign and send in (or attach) the NOVAWE Liability Release.
*Please upload or email organizer your horse's Coggins test. Negative Coggins must be dated within one year of 4/5/2025.
Any scratch before the closing day will receive all fees paid minus a $20 office fee.
Any scratch after the closing day will not receive a refund of clinic fees. Stabling fees can be refunded.
Additional box lunches for helpers or family with you can be purchased by contacting the event manager, Biddie Lowry.
Auditors are welcome at no charge.

Tack Stalls are $35/night. Strider required that they be listed at the end, so select it if you want a tack stall. Please email Biddie a list of those who might be sharing a tack stall with you or if you want a tack stall for 2 nights.

No refunds after Closing Day of March 30, 2025.
You can either upload the three documents or email the three documents to Biddie Lowry. When you email Biddie, please state your experience with WE and your horse's experience with WE so she can place you in a group similar to others. You can use these words to describe the experience: newbie, intro, novice, or intermediate.
If you are a member of NOVAWE, you do not need to send in the NOVAWE Release as you signed it in the 2025 membership form.

NOTES:
- Restroom is in the indoor building.
- Snacks and water will be available at the check in table in the indoor's office.
- Dogs are allowed on the property, but always on a leash. Please don't bring them into the indoor unless he/she is a certified service animal.
- No alcohol, smoking, or firearms are allowed at this county park.
- There are no camping hookups. You can sleep in your trailer (rough camping) if you check in with Frying Pan management. Horses must be in a stall if you stay overnight.

Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. Administrative Information
Ride Time: Ride times and group assignments will be emailed by Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
Trailer Direction: Follow GPS to the park. Unload by Barn 1. Park trailer in lower parking lot. Stabled Horses: You can arrive anytime after 3 pm on Friday. There is hot and cold water in the barn and a manure pile outside the barn. Stalls must be bedded with shavings. You can bring your own or purchase shavings.If you have a stallion, please email Biddie Lowry so that she can assign his stall away from the other horses.Trailer Ins: You can park in the lot behind the indoor. Please bring your own water for your horse/pony. Please clean up around your trailer and take manure/hay home with you.
